Abertillery Local History

While researching my family’s history in the Abertillery area, I inevitably discovered addresses I’d never heard of before. The names of certain streets and areas fascinated me, and so I looked deeper into their meaning and background. My family were also involved in one way or another by major events, including the Six Bells mining disaster in 1960.
